Going by Brushy on the way home. Hope FM3001 is open so I don't have to backtrack to Harleton.

Lady at the store said Hurricane, Copeland creek, Overlook, Sandy Beach, and Shady Grove were closed. A bunch of spillway fishermen at 7:00.

Did spillway for three hours after work today. Finished as it got dark. brought 7 keepers home. Caught between 30-40, on slip rig. They were hitting about 16' down. Bobby Garland jigs ( many chartruese variations were working today). Lotta guys were leaving with some hefty stringers.

Was there a bunch of people in boats or was the majority fishing from the bank?

All bank fisherman. Tons of fish being caught there right now. 16-18" beneath a slip cork.

Have fish there lots of times but only once the past year. How does the wind come into play there?

It's pretty well protected near the water.

Thanks, this last week been hard to find anything that a boat, bank or wading will work. Time to check the creeks again.

The trees are back flooded and I talked to a friend who was out in a flat bottom in the trees in two feet of water and he loaded the boat, biggest was 3#. His trick he swears was the "rosie reds" he was using!!
