The plastic baits at Longview's Academy have just about been picked clean. I counted three employees trying to get them restocked and customers taking the plastics right out of their hands roflmao I stopped by the pawn shop on High St. that started carrying fishing baits and they have a pretty good assortment now...and their prices are better than Academy's. Picked up a pack of Tightline whisker baits. Never tried them before....anxious to sink em and see what they can do. fish

Bluebonnets are blooming = bass on beds.
"..The pleasant’st angling is to see the fish
Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.”
