Is there a boat lane that runs into little caney on lake fork? If not, how far can you run up there before you need to idle? (assuming you don't know the run). Thanks

Additionally, if there is anyone that will be on the lake tomorrow that knows the run and is willing to let me follow I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not looking for fishing spots, just trying to stay safe.

with the lake high there is...this run is one that will make you pucker when lake is down...if you dont know the run, stay on pad till you get close to the first point on left, then idle for couple hundred yards, then back open till you get to hide a way harbor. this is if you are on mainlake headed north

There are no marker buoys in little caney. There could possibly be a lane on the "boat lanes" chip but I'm not 100% sure there is. I recently bought it but haven't been in that area yet. Perhaps someone could verify one way or the other. If so, it would be your best bet to get where you want safely. If not I would strongly suggest idling. It's a loaded with mines.

There is a run all the way back to Hideaway.
But it is not marked and you need to know where you are going, pretty tight in a couple of areas.
You need to absolutely follow someone the first time.
if you are going to fish it much it would be good to invest in one of the guide boat lane chips.
several good unmarked guide lanes on them.

There is s stump in the boat lane right where the first power line crosses but it might be underwater now.

I was there today and I shut it down before I got to the 1st tree on the left. I was puckered up and it is so hard to tell with the water up. When in doubt don't is my saying.

So what are the orange markers that are sticking up from the trees along the channel running back in little Caney? They go all the way back to Hurley RV park.

have you been on the lake in the past few days? Reason I am asking is if there were some orange markers I sure didn't see them today. But I really wasn't looking I just shut it down and went fishing.

You might want to buy Lance Vick's Boat Lanes chip for your graph. Lake Fork Marina sells them. Well worth the 20-25 bucks if you're not familiar with Fork. At full pool and above it has a good lane.

Was in Red Bird Cove a few weeks ago and saw a guy come around the corner from north of me on plane. He was much braver than I am. Hideaway is a good reference point to start shutting down. Be on the look out for floaters though.

I agree with this spend a few bucks and get Lance Vicks boat lanes chip well worth it.

Is this the same one I'm finding online at boatlanes.com? Just wanted to x2 check and once you get is there any immediate updates one has to do to be current?

Not since Tuesday, they were tiny orange poles 3 or 4 of them... About 2 ft out of water, the last one in the back of little caney is right out from the camper I'm staying in in Hurley, little passed the island... I did purchase boatlanes now tho, got scared of my trail I made...
