2015 legend v20. Had a 2008 legend alpha 199 before that. And I promise if I still had the 08 and had an issue they would still take care of it.

I think all are good. Legend, ranger, skeeter, bass cat , Phoenix, nitro, it's just a preference thing. But think not all have the same customer service. I know there are others just too many to list.

Ask in 23 months, there will always be newer and better engineered designs of boats and motors. I bet there will be a new boat builder out there that will sponsor a tournament and slated as the newest bestest more gooder boat than has ever been built. Thousands will flock to them and buy them.

You really just need to go drive them all and spend some time going through the compartments/layout. Pick the one that fits you.

My criteria was: economical, I wanted a smaller 4 stroke engine and a lighter boat so it would be easy on gas and the truck; I wanted aluminum so I could take it through the stumps with no worries (I know fiberglass can go there too); the trailer needed larger wheels so I can get up to highway speeds for long distances; I also wanted a used boat, let someone else have the depreciation. Mine is a 16.5 foot Fisher with a 40 HP Mercury 4 stroke. My Tacoma hardly knows it's back there and we pull it all over the south. It has plenty of scratches and dents from the stumps. I get plenty of fishing trips from one tank of gas. I guess it could be a little faster, but I don't have to be the first one to the fishing spot. Hope this helps.

Bass Cat
Legend
Phoenix
Skeeter

Those would be the top 4 I would look at and then decide which fits you best.
I have an 04 Bass Cat Cougar.

If you have a Triton dealer near i would look at one of those, the TRX 20 or 21 is a pretty impressive rig. I no longer have a dealer close so my next rig may be a Ranger, I am going to give the Phoenix a look, when they first arrived i was not impressed, heard they have made many improvements. Like others have said, a good dealer is a high priority.
