Haven't been on the lake in over a year anything to watch out for with the high water or ramp closures?

Most of the ramps should be fine. Watch out for floaters from this recent rain. It's gonna be muddy as hell. . .good luck man, it'll likely be tough fishing.
Before the rain the fish were shallow, in less than 8 fow, in the flooded brush, especially on secondary points. They were taking almost anything t rigged. Hopefully they haven't moved too far.
Good luck.

Little Elm ramp will be your best bet if they start closing the ramps again...

Fished on Tuesday for about 3.5 hours and we caught 6, up t 3.25 lbs. Between 6 and 8' on lizards, SB and CBs. Go read the report in the Freshwater reports section. Hope this helps. OH, the lake was up about 15" at that time, over 2.5' high, then. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Lewisville was on fire before all the rain. Gainesville bass club took 23lbs for first, 21 for 2nd, 17 for 3rd. Had at least 10 sacks above 15lbs. Wish you luck out there!

It's a tad shallow though It has a gradual slope, so you have to back in further. However it is really way out there. During the drought there was plenty of ramp for me.

Bite was incredible before this week, best it has been since I can ever remember. As for hazards, watch for floaters. We cleared a nasty half a telephone pole behind marina in Stewart creek on Saturday evening only to have the lake come up almost 4ft by Wednesday when we were back out, and the post was back in 5fow standing up again, but it was at least up against the flooded brush.
As for the report on bite before, very accurate. As of this weeks rain, that pattern died 100% and we found no fish holding where they had been. I found plenty suspended on main lake points though.... sadly calm winds, wild pressure front sitting on lake, and no sunshine... the fish were not budging or biting. Hopefully tomorrow fares better for everyone of the guys from the colony bass club since we had to move there with Bridgeport closing early this week.
I'll probably post a thorough report if we get on them since I can't make the BPS grapevine series out there on 20th coz I have to be at Mav's game for my company at 4pm
