No, but I don't stand up in mine.

Yep, happened to me about 12 years ago at Lake Fork in the middle of winter. Fortunately I was not far from the ramp and got back to my truck before I became hypothermic.

I've definitely grown more cautious if I'm making a big run, I just like the extra room to work with when I don't have the front seat in...It's the give and take I guess. Haha

Spend enough time on the water you will probably wind up in it. Glad you're okay. I am sure it didn't seem funny at the moment. Haha

No. Not yet.

I usually keep seated when I am going fast. That helps a lot.

I only stand when not in motion and my TM is on the back so if I fall forward i will still be in the boat.

I cut the video short but we both have a pretty good sense of humor when it comes to embarrassing ourselves so we had a good laugh! My iPhone wasn't very pleased though... eek

I'm just sure glad I didn't fall on top of that stump!

I'm glad you are OK. I had a guide friend who said there are two groups of fishermen: those who admit having fallen out of a boat, and those who don't!

I've only fallen once - from the front deck of a 20' bass boat - but it was a doozy. The "stump" we hit was a branch from a 6 inch diameter trunk rotted off beneath the surface. I did an end over end as I entered and basically ended up "sitting" on that trunk with my left buttock, paralyzing my left leg for a period of time. I needed help getting back into the boat, the fishing trip was ended, and I was immobilized for several days. It took over six weeks for the bruising to dissipate. It's no fun at all!

I've fallen plenty, but never out of a boat.

I got a bass hunter EX and I stand up in mine a lot when fishing alone and occasionally when fishing with a partner...but NEVER when traveling...you got lucky you didn't fall on the stump or get cut from the prop...
