Anyone ever fish there for cats. I will be up there soon and thought about catfishing at night time. Any ideas on best bait. I was just thinking take some frozen shad. Or maybe just catch some there. Thanks

Heard some good reports on flatties and blues from the river around some deep pools the rain should help it better . I am trying to find me cabin for weekend but dang can't ever get one they are always reserved .

If the water is rising there's a 100% chance you'll catch some in the grass right on the bank with just about anything you throw. Water has to be on the rise though.

Is this the same river that's by Barefoot campgrounds? Going camping there next weekend and have only been once. Not sure if there's any fish in that area or not. Thanks in advance for any info.

I saw a guy come into the boat ramp one day with a boat full of keepers. I asked him what he used and he said he was using squid. He said its the best bait he has ever used and stays on the hook better than anything. He had a half pound of it left and gave it to me. I slayed them from the bank that night....Best fishing trip ever at Bend.I always hit the local asian market before i fish for cats. It stays on the hook like nothing else I have ever tried....
