Gonna be making the move from California to Texas in a couple of months. Looking for a club in the Cedar Creek Lake/Gun Barrel City area. Thanks in advance for your help

Forgot to mention, I'm a boater, have a 17ft aluminum Ranger. Been fishing club tourneys for the past 14 years out here in Calif, fished with a club in Indiana for 3 years prior to moving to CA

Its a drive for you but you are always welcome to come be apart of the Pilot Point Bass Club. I'm sure we will fish tournaments out that way. I'm sure they are some local clubs near that area that would be grateful to have you. The Pilot Point Club plans to have seminars from local and pro fisherman. It would be great to hear about West Coast vs. Southern fishing including the similarities. Contact me if you are interested in possibly speaking with us or if we can help you in any way.

Looks to be about a two hour drive. It's doable, but I'd like to find something a little closer. Might drive up that way to check it out once I get settled in, thanks

There are a lot of clubs in the DFW area, I would welcome you to look at the Ray Hubbard Bass Club in the Rockwall/Garland area. I am sure there are clubs more local to where you will be living but I have no information about them.

Id like to add if you are a retired guy moving to Texas and can fish on Thursdays we have a great club that only fishes Lake Fork every other Thursday. Maybe you have heard of our lake. If not google it or look at the many reports on here.

It is about 1 1/2 hours to Oak Ridge, and we do start early and fish 8 hours, but our members really like the format and the fact that it fairly inexpensive. We have about 50 members. Normal is about 36 to 44 boats with members paired (not teams however) up and we paper the fish so slot fish count.

E-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com if interested.
