Being a school teacher I long await the chance and fish during spring break but just like last year the weather is not cooperating. What lakes have had the least impact from the weather. My warm up lake worth is now closed and doesn't appear to be open by next week. Had planned to hit fork but wasn't sure if a 2 hour drive to a flooded difficult lake would be worn while this year.

I'm on spring break this week. Instead of fishing all I've done is read TFF and watch YouTube videos on fishing. At least next week you have 80 degree weather to look forward to.

Lake Ivie would be a good choice for you.

Hubbard Creek and Ivie and the lakes around San Angelo haven't caught anything.

I"m south of HC and have only received 1.7" out of all of this. Most of it has been a slow soaker, great for my Dove fields but no run off. Was on HC Tuesday and it's still slow. Talked to a couple of Crappie fishermen and it was very slow for them too.
