I had the lake to myself Friday March 4th and caught a bunch of aggressive 2 pounders and two really nice fish. Does anyone have a water temperature for Bellwood? The water felt cold but I had no way of getting a temp. in my kayak.

Hoping to get into the crappie out there soon. The bite should be getting good...

You're talking about Bellwood in Tyler, right? Sorry Lake Bellwood Tyler, TX caught them all on a rage tail about three to ten feet from the cut grass or cattails (not to sure what is around the shore line) but the smaller fish were hitting the bait hard.
