Heading to Alan Henry next week first time ever on the lake any advice for crappie?

It has a steep loading dock but very wide , can launch several boats at one time . I personally don't have a boat so I usually bank fish around the boat ramp . There is a store across from the entry that sells bait , minnows if needed . Sorry I can't help on the crappie info . It was back last fall since I was there last . It's a nice lake tho .
