OP lconn4 TFF Guru L Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 22,509 Cherokee County	Had the day off yesterday and was fishing rain or shine. Only one other boat at the ramp, a crappie fisherman, and the only boat I saw for the entire day. Packed some extra safety gear in case I got stranded and hit the water around 11 a.m. Caught 14 fish for the day, largest 5 lbs 1 oz. Most on hollow belly swimbait, the others on spinner bait. Tried topwater, t rigged worm, suspending baits... not a tap. A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated. Lots of shad flickering around on top. Caught this one with 4 inches of line out and tight drag... most exciting fight of the day. Missed several more as I was lifting bait from water. I remember hearing about the fish having puncture marks on them. Caught several like this. On a brighter note, someone is selling their place with nice dock. A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
