I was wrong about the 8' high part. As of right now Pines is about 11' high and probably still rising. Bad timing for a tournament.

8' high, try the Cypress Trees, they like to suspend in them when it gets that high. That right there was classified information.

It will b weeks before Caddo is down looks like. So flooded water has nowhere to go. I had been smashing them out there A buddy of mine went the day before the rain started and hammered them on Caddo. Caught 4 over 7 lbs with the two biggest being 8.5 lbs and 10.8 lbs. Wish I could have made it over there before the flood.

How high does it have to get before they close the lake? Before this, few ramps were open. Dealing the Corp, you never know. Still raining now.

I had planned to fish pines a lot next week over spring break. I'm sure I will go, but may try to fish some other lakes in the area to I am sure you will hit Lone Star, Welsh and Pirkey. May add Pinkston and Murval to that list to! Murvaul has been closed.

Be a good weekend to organize the tackle.

I'd be curious to know if anybody knows the status of the boat ramps at Lone Star.

Lop now over 11 high. Lone star usually doesn't fair to bad.

I have never been to lone star, but our bass cub which I am new to fishes it every year, thought if it wasn't chocolate milk I might go to get familiar with it!
