Craws have been a challenge for me so I broke out my Custom Microns to help tackle the pattern. ~ Blue Moon

I don't suppose you'd be willing to share your process.

BassCat & SWalker, many thanks for taking the time to reply. Since Im new to airbrushing cranks I really appreciate the feedback and encouragement.

SWalker - regarding a process, Im still in the freshman custom crank class and slowly cobbling together techniques that the other painters on the forum have generously shared that work for them. Ive have been spending a lot of time focused on design since thats a skill already in my wheelhouse.

My biggest challenge, and most of the time I've invested, has been figuring out how to pull off the designs. Here are a couple of other craw shots that might provide some insight on techniques Im using. ~Blue Moon

BassCat and SWalker, many thanks again. BassCat, great colors, names and finish on your early baits.

Regarding my copperhead craw, its not so much that Im into reptile names, just working hard to match the hatch. It often seems we have juvenile copperheads under nearly every leaf where I chase monster bass in the spring. For those of you that enjoy running barefoot through the spring leaves, heres a shot I took a few years ago. Also for anyone that ever wondered why worms with yellow tip tails tend to work well in spring and early summer, take a look at the juvi copperhead tail in my pic.
