The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our third meeting of 2016 on Thursday March 10th. The meeting will be held at Bass Pro Garland downstairs in the restaurant on the patio. They enclose the patio and break out the heaters so we don't freeze although that doesn't appear to be a concern right now. Keeping dry may be a good thing though. The meeting will start at 7:00PM.

We will be taking memberships for 2016! Membership costs $30.00 per year and that includes your entire immediate family. Secretary Russell Olds will be taking your information down and Treasurer David Simmons will be taking your money. If you are new to the Club, they should be easy to spot, but if you need some help, ask anyone. They will be working on memberships throughout the meeting and we will get to everyone. You will fill out an information sheet so we know how to get in touch with you. If you are a returning member, please fill out the member sheets again and update your contact info for us if needed. We will also have a Sign in Sheet there. Make sure everyone signs in. You get 10 AOY points for every meeting you attend.

We will be recapping our first tournament of the year on Lake Palestine. If you finished high in the sea of boats that fished with us at Palestine come prepared to talk about how you did it. We will talk about our March tournament coming up on the 12th at Cypress Springs. Tournament hours are 7-4 this month. Long day on the water! We are launching out of Overlook Park. All tournament information will be posted here in the Bass Clubs section. We will also be doing partner finder. If you do not have someone to fish with, do not fish solo. Let's make sure no one is left out.

We will be going over information on our second March tournament. It's the annual RHBC Open coming up on Saturday March 26th on Lake Ray Hubbard. The fishing should be great for this one. All information on the Open can be found here, or you can PM me for more information.

Open Information

We will vote on tournament hours and ramp for our April tournament on Lake Tawakoni. It will be great to get back on Tawakoni after missing last year due to low water. We are taking contributions to upgrade the scales and are over halfway to getting what we need. Bring some cash or your checkbook and throw in a few dollars, From 10 to 200, it all helps us get what we need. See David Simmons about that. We will go over the qualifications for being Angler of the Year, and fishing in the Club Championship tournament, which this year will be on Cedar Creek in November. We will update you on sponsorship opportunities the Club is working on.

Lots to go over so come early and stay late. We hope to have the PA so everyone can hear what is going on. Bring your appetite as wait staff will be there for your food and drink orders. Beer and other libations are available from your bartenders inside. Hope to see you there!
