I need yalls thoughts on putting an aluminum cc in saltwater. 90% of our fishing is freshwater but we do usually make 3-4 trips a year to the coast. We have been using a fiberglass cc so corrosion has not been a concern but now we have aluminum boats and are kind of concerned to put them in the salt.

The boats are a 2005 xpress 22' cc and a 2016 alumacraft mv2072 cc

Thanks

I have a zink anode inside the tunnel of my scooter, it takes any issues away.

Many Marine supply places have zinc anode kits for your boat. You need one on the boat, motor and trolling motor. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=&am...mp;_sacat=26443

Carpeted bunks on your trailer will eat your hull. Wash well after saltwater.
