Got to Brockdale around 10:30 last night and manged to catch 1 blue that went about 2lbs. Had some bites just couldn't get them to take the bait, all bites and catch were on chicken breast.

Never tried cat fishing there, but have caught some springtime crappie there.

Ive only caught a few channel cats and about two long nose gar. I did see one guy walk to the right of the bank area by the parking lot one year and he went into the shallows more in the cove and came out with a big blue sitting in less than five feet of water.
