Unfortunately, they told me that the 10% veteran discount has to be set up in advance with a discount account file by sending in a copy of my DD214 or military ID and nothing can be done about an order already placed. Thought since I had just placed the order they might be able to help. I wish they had something on the order page asking if you are military, veteran, etc. I definitely would not send in a copy of my DD214 to some random company as that is a LOT of information about me. Oh well. It was worth a shot. They still had a good price on the reel I bought.

Oh well. It was worth a shot. They still had a good price on the reel I bought. You can scan to your computer and edit out the sensitive parts then e-mail to them. That is what I did with my military ID. Keep it handy on the computer as many places offer a military discount with proper documentation.
