To those who went to the bassmaster classic in Shreveport and this last one in Tulsa which classic was better venue and vendor wise. i just got back from the classis and cannot believe what all they had got there sat bout 2 and needed at least 2 full days if not all 3 to see and enjoy everything.
Just wondering if the one in shreveport and future classis that will be held in shreveport will be as good as it was in tulsa.

thanks for all your responses.
Jeff

The venues themselves in Tulsa are awesome, I enjoyed the classic expo and chatting with all the vendors and my buddies. It was a good time and as you mentioned a ton to see and buy.

My only thought is the setup in Shreveport is better, only because the fishing location and the expo/weigh in locations are much closer to each other. When I went to the FLW cup a few years back in Shreveport I was able to drag the boat, follow the competitors until after lunch then make it to the expo in time to put in several hours then see weighin. In Tulsa that is not feasible, you need at least 2 days if not 3 to make it worth it if you want to follow someone around in the boat and see the expo etc. at the time there was also room for boat parking in downtown Shreveport.

Not taking anything away from the folks in Tulsa they really put on a good show and I can see why BASS has made multiple trips up there. They really show up and spend their hard earned money.

I'd like to see a scenario where everything is within 20 miles of each other.
