If you could chose, which would you pick to spend a day at over spring break (next week)? Trying to decide which to go to. Thanks!

let me give you my input, fork is a guide lake and Athens is the lake where the weekend warrior can go and catch 25 fish most days

Not anymore. Athens has become the most pressured lake in texas if you take size of lake into account vs. # of anglers.

You didn't know Chris? You're doing it wrong, you just drive your boat around on Athens, the fish jump in the boat there.

AMEN ...... Big number of boats, lots of fishing pressure just because of the statements like the one above
200 boats every weekend.

I fished Athens back in the 70's and 80's it was the only place I could go and not see but maybe three are four boats all weekend. My how things have changed.
