Does anybody know if they are still in business? I dropped of my fish there 2 years and 8 months ago. I got a hold of them last year and the guy said 3 more months. That was last summer. Getting a little frustrated.

Go get it if you can and bring it to Fin and Bones Taxidermy. Bill Muntz will do you right and you will have a beautiful showcase. He's active on TFF, especially the Crappie Section.

UJC, thanks for telling me about Fin and Bones taxidermy. My next fish will be done there. It shouldn't take almost 3 years plus to get a fish done.

I used fish scale for my dads trophy one summer. He had it to me in 3 months, when it arrived I opened the box to see a fantastic mount, one to be proud of...it looked nothing like the pictures I sent him. Completely wrong shape. Florida bass form, more girth than the native strain that dad caught. It was well done, very detailed. It is just a piece of art in his house now, not a reminder of his good catch.

He had mine about 9 mos. was completely up front about the wait. The finished product was worth the wait. They did a great job.

9 months is a lot different than 3 years. He was upfront with me, telling me it would be 5 months. Last summer he said it would be 3 more months. WTH?
