First of all beautiful lake. Just an incredible body of water. Fishing was on fire on the south end but we fished mid lake. Fishing was tough bit I think it will be on mid lake in a week or so. We started by pounding the banks shallow looking for spawners but had no luck. Everyone else we saw were doing the same. Decided to back off a bit and it paid off. It was slow but got a bit of a pattern. Bucks were staging and suspending on the edge of the buck brush 5-6 feet of water. Caught 15 fish all on a weighess fluke dead sticking it. Thought yesterday was going to be better but wasn't. Started with same patter and picked off 2 small ones and then nothing. Went back out after lunch and third cast got one on a chatter bait and buddy got one a few casts later on a crankbait. Then nothing the rest of the day until I caught one just before leaving. Bass weren't on beds yet mid lake but will be soon and it will be good fishing. All in all had a blast and can't wait to get back there. Probably going to make a trip in April when BIL flies down. It may be on then. Awesome lake.

Big fish of the trip. roflmao

I'm going next week if it's not flooded too much!

They interviewed dam personnel on the local news today. They stated that since TB was not a flood control reservoir their goal was to try and release the same amount of water as what entered the lake (can't see that happening with the watershed getting at least 10" of rain in 48 hours).

I love the Bend.

Haha, yeah, weightless fluke in about 1 foot of water. Thought I had a real nice bass for a bit.

That is like 47 billion gallons of water in 24 hours at that rate of release.

OMG
