 Any fish left in Lake Bridgeport?

Going to Bridgeport for the first time this weekend- is the lake pretty open/safe to run? Areas I need to be careful in, etc? anyone been fishing it lately? Any tips? North or south end better? Should I fish the river?
Just looking for some general advice for a first timer out there. Thanks in advance!

Lake has been clear of obstacles for a while. Watch out for floaters after this storm. Water will definitely be muddy also. Fish back of coves and just inside points.

Main lake looked good a few weeks ago. Up the river on the other hand was very muddy and some of the coves had LOTS of debris still floating around. Not sure if it cleared up before all this rain but it will just be muddy again.

Wise County Messenger reports that TRWD is closing Lake Bridgeport at 10:00AM Tuesday due to high lake levels.
