Alright boys and girls... Let the fun begin!!! This weekend will be Daylight Savings time so we get an extra hour to fish!!!! That means... Our Mariner Sail's Thursday Working Man's will be kicking back up!! I know lots of you have pm'd me for the last few weeks about it. I've been holding off announcing anything, waiting on Grapevine to settle... but with this week's rain I don't think it'll happen. So we'll have to play it by ear on where to hold the first event at, and watch for this rain. But I can't wait!!! See yall next Thursday 3-17-16!!! The lake is to be determined by this rain!!!

Simple rules...
1. Artificial only
2. Must have PFD
3. Must have Hawg Trough
4. Must have 360 light. Most of the time it will be dark by the time we get done. The 360 light is for your own safety.
5. This is a CPR tournament. Catch, Photo, Release. If you catch a Sharlunker during that season, you can withdraw from the tournament and tend to the fish while waiting for Texas Parks and Wildlife to get there.
6. This is a free tournament for everyone to come out and have a good time, fish, and tell lies.

Man I have been waiting since September for this to start back up. I'm going to get some tackle today. And plan my assault! I hope to win a few this year and get some confidence built up to fish some of the paid tournaments.

I'm off work the 17th just depends on where its held as to wether I can try to make it. I live out next to Lavon and have to work early Friday morning. I'd have to haul back home after its over so I could get some sleep.

I hope to make a few more this year than i did this past year - good luck and fun times to everyone who does go to these... and if you haven't gone yet... GO!

How late do these normally run? I definitely wanna come join a few just gotta plan around a wierd schedule!!!

They end at 9pm. We usually hang around afterwards and tell a bunch of lies.

For all of you who are on the fence about these tournaments, do them! They're a blast, and always a good time. Very low pressure, and pretty much just for fun. A great way to break up the stress of the work week.

I was also informed that both ramps are open, so we will be meeting back at the ramp near the school.
