I have a hds 7 touch screen unit at the bow tied into the trolling moter trans. I have the words water temp showing on my screen but cant get the temp numbers to show. the dash mounted unit runs fine from the tranducer mounted at the back of boat
What can i do to reset or what needs to happen. the unit is 2 years old

I'm going to assume you have temp on your transducer at the bow. I'm also going to assume you've selected the correct transducer in the "installation" section under Settings/Sonar.

In Settings, under Networking, then Data Sources. Click the sonar that you have connected to that unit. Make sure it's set to LOCAL, over to the right on that same line as the check box is a triangle icon, click it and change it to local. Make sure there's a check mark in the temp "source" that you want to to read from.

thanks ill try that .I thought if all the depth ,charts etc worked that its installed correctly. I bought this boat from a guide last november and all was working at that time . dont know how or why it stoped.
