 Possible LA state record for African Pompano, but need HELP!!!

Took a little trip down to the coast of Louisiana and did some offshore fishing sunday 3/6/16. Fished the East Lump area and wile jigging, came hooked up with a African Pompano which according to LA records could be the #6 state record. I need t have a bonafide marine biologist confirm and be able to sign my certification. Is there anyone in the local area that can help?? Me and the full/whole fish are home in Arlington. Nice fish. Louisiana Wildlife Dept. should have Marine Biologist on staff. I would call them. Also make sure that any weights taken were on a certified scale by the States standards. In the meantime keep the fish on ice or in a freezer. Side Note: Nice fish.

Any TP&WD office around you should have a marine biologist who can identify it for you.
