 Adding led on dash that flashes with warning horn

I've read of this being done. Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to wire the light in? The engine is a 96 225 efi

assuming its a merc/mariner?
one side of led will tie inta same tan/blue tracer that goes to one side of tha warning buzzer... other side purple... check for a "spare" tan/blue under tha dash somewhere close to tha key switch.....ya might get lucky.

he put the LED in the center on my dash,use a red LED see it a lot better
|
