Hey guys,
I am looking to add a trophy carp fishing spot(from banks) to my 1 week Texas trip in coming May. I will be fishing spots from Huntsville to Dallas, including Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork.
I have never caught buffalo before. If buffalo fishing will be better and more productive, i can do that instead.
Thanks.

Welcome to Texas. Trinity, Brazos, and sabine rivers all offer bank access to carp and buffalo in places. Trophy sized carp aND buffalo in the Sabine River, a few places you can catch gar, buffalo, and carp in exact same spot. I don't mind sharing. Trinity river crossing at U.S. Hwy 7 has a home bank access but it won't be trophy carp. You may catch buffalo there too, and alligator gar but not likely trophysized from bank. I can give directions on sabine river, no bank fishing on the rivers if water level is high, at least not good anyway.

3034'11.98"N 9456'59.00"W This is another spot i would give a shot to, as i will stay in Huntsville for a day or two.

I don't know just from seeing those. US 7 runs between Crockett and centerville. You could also fish the lake Livingston Dam

Dawson, i meant you to paste the coordinates on Google Maps and it would show the location. Anyways, i am sure about the spot you are saying.
I will fish Livingston Dam for catfish. Any carp population there too?

Fatih, it's generally not a good idea to post GPS coordinates to a fishing spot on the open forum. Unless it's a place that can handle massive fishing pressure from folks who would otherwise never try it, or it's coordinates for public information (like the locations of the Liberty ship reefs), I would personally advise that you should keep GPS numbers in private messages.

Then why are you sharing fishing maps on the forum?
