I was wondering about whiskey flats too. The last few years there hasn't been enough water for them to run up but the should be this year.
Chief Wiggum: This is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort, heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless.

We ended up with 7 sandies and alot of 7-9 3/4" crappie on minnows they were slow, but moving in. Im curious to see what the rain does to the run...

Depending on how much rain yall get it should really really help. I've only fished there once but did very well right after a solid rain.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.
