If I tighten my HDSI transducer enough so it no longer moves than the kick up protection will no longer work. The bracket is too tight to get past the ridges. Anyone else have this problem?

It's normal to be a little loose so I went with this and tighten all the way http://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/product/sbb-4-spring-back-bracket/

If you squeeze the sides of the metal bracket to increase the tension, that will take more force to trip it if impacted.

The indentations on the sides are the trip stops. The bolt at the top is just a pivot point and has nothing to do with the tension.
