Is it worth cleaning just one crappie and putting it in the freezer or would you let it go?

Seriously though, the only good thing you could do is cook it up in a pan for yourself for lunch.

8 is my minimum before I clean fish. If it is in hot summer days and not catching rapid enough, I turn what 2 or three we have in livewell a loose before they get stressed and die. I sometimes have cleaned 5 or 6 because they were too stressed for release so they went to the grease.

I let it go. Not worth cleaning 3 or less to me.

That's when you just scale it and gut it. One good crappie is enough for me fried whole.

depends, if i have a few in the freezer already ill clean one or two at a time. if my freezer is empty to start with i wont bother.

Plus 1...I try to give it away first, then throw it back...four or more...that is my saying...

If it's a big one I can make a quick dinner or lunch out of it
