Hi, I am still learning bass fishing and I came across a couple of small city lakes (ponds) that hold bass. These small lakes have heavy vegetation bottom like you seen in the links below but I know plenty of bass hide in there because I could see them swim away when I walked by.
I would really appreciate your advise on how to bass fishing this kind of lakes? What rigs would be appropriate to fish in these lakes to minimize the snag?

Pitch to those "holes" in the weeds. A frog over the tops.

Weightless Texas rigged senko. All you need!

Due to the green slime you will probably do best with a frog. A smaller version will probably get more bites.

Horny toad, ribbit or even an ultrvibe speed craw reeled over the top weightless. Then a weightless green pumpkin or watermelon red trick worm and colors alike it.

Keitech Salty Core Stick

I think you should try one of these. Throw it on a 3/0 worm hook, weightless. This bait has a nice, subtle action on the fall and it's a killer bait for ponds and small lakes. Throw it around little points, turns, and holes in the vegetation and you should get bit.

I believe I know this spot. It is shallow and has stone waterfall near where the photo was taken.

Weightless senko, Texas or wacky rigged. Make long casts as the fish are easily spooked since it is small. Also there is channel in the center that doesn't get as much growth in it - let your bait fall right off the weed edge.

Weedless creatures and flukes also work. In the AM a buzzbait works but you'll be cleaning it off a lot.

If it is not the spot I think it is, I would still try those baits.
