Took mrs. SPT fishing today from 230 to 6pm. Weather was gorgeous! First 2 hrs, only 1 fish after fishing many spots. Then decided to check the levee humps, bam! Fast and furious catching for a solid 45 minutes. They were mostly hugging at bottom with agressive bites. Easy pickN on small slabs. Big whites, huge yellows, couple juvenile hybrids. Caught about 30 good fish. Wife only want the big yellows for a meal. The rest went back. Many of the big whites got bad wound marks on them from preditors, which is typical this time of the year.

Spent the last part eating dinner and watching the sunset.

Water temp 58 to 63 degrees. Wind 8mph South. Catching depth were at 27ft.

Saw Rockwall Roy, Filletmaker , DD, BryFly out. They said they caught some fish earlier. Good seeing yall! Have a safe spring break and good luck guys! cheers

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Good report and some nice fish. Wish my wife enjoyed fishing. She was turned off by one of those guys who says "you have to do this and don't do that,", way before I met her. coach bang

That last picture tells it all. Becca looks like she had a great time out with her hubby. Nice fish pics.

Great day on the lake. Took me 30 minutes to find fish and pretty much sat there for hours until the sail box races ran us off. Then we had to hunt and peck. Good seeing everyone.
