Howdy folks! I'm headin up to the north end of Conroe tomorrow to do a little fishing. Anyone else gonna be out there? It may be a bit cold but I'm hoping they will be biting!

I did alright, caught 4 or so 2ish pounders. Also forgot to put the plug in for the first time. Embarrassing! You ever have that why am I not getting up on plane... Shoot moment? I hit the bilge pump and it starts pumping water like crazy. I was to lazy to put it back on the trailer as I was way north so I took a quick cold swim and put it in. What a dummy!

Did that once but dint get out of the marina when my grandson pointed out the water coming up through the floor drain. On a good note, it washed out the bottom real good.

They say a Ranger won't sink because it's full of foam... So maybe I just lucked out. It was a loooong time before I realized it.
