I have had this 1986 V6 175 HP. mercury for several years and not much trouble at all. I had always run NGK spark plugs in it since thats what it had when i bought it, 2 yr, ago i had the lower unit re sealed and the mechanic put Champion UL77V spark plugs in it, Said he liked them better, I'm fixing to change plugs again as sometimes it will die on me when i go to put it in reverse, what do you fellows like the best. thanks in advance.

The only reason a tech would stick a champion in that motor is he knows you'll be back a lot sooner.
