Does anyone have any experience with this rod or reel? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

i have a concept A 8:1 that is really nice, they seem very well built but I am just as happy with a Lews LFS in fact I thought about trying to trade it for a couple. The key features I like are the 22lb drag that I probably don't need and the mag adjustment is under the side plate.

I have a concept C reel and several rods and love them. That reel is one of my favorites, does not take any effort to cast and will throw it a mile.

I have a Concept A on a Castaway Skeleton. I've had it for about a year, fished it mostly in freshwater but it's seen a little saltwater duty also. I've been very happy with it and would buy another. It is very smooth, the cork handles have held up really well, the drag can be turned up to over 20 lbs and the braking system is top notch. My wife was able to cast it repeatedly without backlashing it and she's never thrown a baitcast before (after her success with the Concept A she picked up my Calcutta but before i was able to stop her she let one fly and immediately ended up with a huge backlash that i had to cut out to clear). The Concept A will launch baits with a little weight to them but has no problem throwing weightless flukes or other light baits. Overall, i've been happy with it and would recommend their reels.
