Where on the lakes are the most likely places for shad right now?
Are they balled up anywhere in particular?

TIA

I'm looking for shad locations out in the lake. Not creeks.

We use our electronics to find the bait and then throw the net. They move around just like fish and usually are not in the same places as the water continues to warm up. We been finding them between 16 & 32 feet of water.

Thanks. I guess looking along the dams or around boat ramp areas is what I'm needing to do.
I mostly fish Raybob and throwing a net back in the creeks is not an option.

I know I could get them at GV but it's a PIA to get a boat in from my side.
With what's coming in next week it may be fall before I can get back on GV.

Have been having the best luck on Belton in 20+ ft. of water. Still need a taped or a fast sinking net.
