As for as production goes, Strike King Hack Attack is by far my favorite. Others I like are Oldham, All Terrain Tackle Grass Jig, and old Black Angel jig.

X2 for the Hack Attack and Oldham jigs. Those are all I use for fishing heavy grass. Best design I have found for coming through clean.

This is the jig that I use the most for grass fishing. I like it because the head is cone shaped and it has double weedguard. It comes through grass very well. It has a good hook and the colors are truly custom.

I don't make jigs but I do fish a lot of grass. You want a pointy head on the jig to pull thru the grass easiest. Here's a couple I've had some luck with.

The Stanley big nasty was designed out of necessity. Several of us were having trouble getting a heavy wire hook to pierce the top of a big fish (5# plus) fish's mouth. The angle of the hook on 25# fluorocarbon will pierce when you're stroking the jig in deep grass. However it works just as fell flipped or swam. Buy a couple to try. It might not be for everyone, but it has replaced 80% of my jig box.

Look at the eye of the hook versus the point of the hook. You want bite but it needs to stay weedless

Mpack Jigs work great in grass, swim jigs or flipping jigs, both come through clean.

Like I said above give Bart Doty a call or send him a PM on here. His TTF name is O da Pines.

He has won countless tournaments. He is one of the best grass fishermen that I know. You won't be disappointed.
