I usually try an bend some of my hooks. I've missed alot of fish grass fishing. Not like a crankbait haha

The Stanley big nasty was designed out of necessity. Several of us were having trouble getting a heavy wire hook to pierce the top of a big fish (5# plus) fish's mouth. The angle of the hook on 25# fluorocarbon will pierce when you're stroking the jig in deep grass. However it works just as fell flipped or swam. Buy a couple to try. It might not be for everyone, but it has replaced 80% of my jig box.




I love stanley jigs caught fish punching them
