so the XTM 9 HDSI 180 T and the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T both work with the 998 c hdsi unit correct? one is just trolling motor mount and the other is transom mount?
I only fish on days that end in Y!

They are the exact same transducer. Just the included mount is different.
XHS is transom mount and XTM is trolling motor mount.

Just noticed it is not the hd one... Ignorant advertising. The picture is the HDSI transducer but the model name is the Compact SI transducer. Not only that the list of compatible units has models with standard Compact SI transducer and models with standard HDSI transducer. The price is closer to the Compact SI transducer cost than the HDSI cost. BUYER BEWARE
