We were looking for a place to unload on the Concho side of Ivie, talked to Concho park and they said it is a no go, if anyone knows a place to unload, it would be greatly appreciated

Padget? thats pretty close to Concho. How come you cant lanch your Yaks at Concho? They are steady posting pics of big bass on FB...

She says it's about 100 yards to water from the ramp, with deep ruts where people have been getting stuck and they are baracading it off!

Hmmm I have been looking at this too. Google Earth images (I know they are dated) seem to show roads where people have driven from the camping areas to water edge. Wonder if you could get close enough that way to launch a kayak? I was going to go take a look in a couple weeks. I never considered trying to back down the ramp. Most ramps I have seen that arent in the water any more, are very rough from the ruts of boat trailers backing off the end of it.

I think Happy Trails in San Angelo has a map with kayak launch points.
