They are repairing the dam on Padera Lake in Midlothian.
I do not know if there were any fish in the lake but,
they drained the lake and there is no creek system.
Driving by I saw shallow water in all the surrounding fields and was probably flooded at one time.
The only ones who would benifit from a field full of fish would be bobcats and coyotes.

There was fish in it 30 years ago, the whole lake is only about 2' to 3' deep. I think they are going to make it deeper and build a housing sub division around it, at least that was the plan a couple years ago.

Now you have 30 acres of field with 2 to 3 inches of water in it.
I saw it from the road clearly

Isn't that that dam that almost burst last spring? With all the rain, the water almost overtopped. Glad to hear it's being fixed.

Yeah, it had a few big pumps up on the dam that everyone figured would wash away. I did when I saw it.
