It's Zatarains Crab Cake Mix. Substitute crappie for the crab and follow directions. I add just a little more liquid to mine so they're not quite so dry.

Thanks Ken, oddly enough, I have never tried making crappie cakes...but I love Zatarain products, so I may just give it a try. I enjoyed some I ate at one of the get togethers (Palestine) that Jigum(BEV) made and enjoyed them...Do you happen to add any additional "heat spices) to them?

Those at the Palestine GTG that Matthew made were made with Zatarains. Matthew was the one who put his recipe on here.
I'm not a fan of the "hot spices" in anything. Too much indigestion for me.

Matthew (JigUm) adds some chopped onion I believe.
I agree with Ken too, add some liquid.

Crab boil diluted with water works for me, but be careful...too much cam make them too salty.

We add Durkes Six Peppers. I have to order it from their website. It's a blend of different peppers and is awesome!

Add a chupacabra seasoning to them as well, some of you may never have heard of this stuff but it is amazing.
