Just bought a title says 96 merc 60hp bigfoot serial# OG330849 lookin for some parts and there is no such # for 60 hp. Question is where on motor can I find serial # there is no sticker?

Service Literature for MERCURY PONTOON-BIGFOOT,879 GEARCASE 60 ELPTO/BF this is what comes up on MercNet... won't let me open up tha manual for some reason though.. which would give year and model number. here's your manual.... http://boatinfo.no/lib/mercury/manuals/45jet-50-55-60.html#/0did find that serial number is '96 a lot (not all) of merc/mariners will have it stamped in tha block welsh plug...
