Thanks for the ideas.
I like the looks of the sonar sock. Will it work if I have the plate and ball for the ram mount mounted on my 998? My other 958 isn't ram mounted so I know that one will work.

I use a handgun case and cut the foam to fit my depth finder(s).

basically this !!!! when you have 4000.00 worth of electronics why worry about a 200.00 case to put them in!!!! can get the 12 inch Gen3 and the 7 inch in it with the Ram mounts still attached to them!! nothing left on the boat !!!
