Jacob, I think if you find the right combination of depth, brush and bait, you'll find crappie under docks just about year round, in this part of the country anyway.

I've shot docks and bridges year-round and caught crappie doing it year-round. You just have to pick the right dock or know the right bridge column to shoot. And knowing that only comes with time on the water.

I've shot docks and bridges year-round and caught crappie doing it year-round. You just have to pick the right dock or know the right bridge column to shoot. And knowing that only comes with time on the water. Plus #1.  Still learning.  Still trying to find the right docks.  Sometimes I do get lucky!

Caught crappie on docks at Cedar Creek this past Sunday in 4-8' of water. I'll shoot docks from mid-February through end of November.

Right after the spawn? During? I only shoot at docks when ducks are flying by them! - you ought to know that . lol
