we took our grandaughter fishing for the first time. we were using nightcrawlers fished weightless and it didnt take long, with mia on my lap i held the rod and she helped reel. this was her first fish, she was so excited watching it splash around it even did a little tailwalk for us. i was so proud of her and to be part of her first fish. then it was grandmas turn fishing with her and they ended up catching 21 more. we had such a great time

The way our plan is now we plan on being there in late March or early April. Going to put in at Pecan Farm Crossing just outside Leakey. Will take out at Blazers Crossing just outside of Garner State Park.

she's only one and a half years old and she is so interested in any animal or insect and isn't shy about touching them.
