put a hook n the water and hope a fish bites it...ok, i'm a smarta~~...i dropt menners around boat docks last week and caught 3 bass, perch, and a drum...goin' agin th/fr and try it agin...
what part of the lake/river r u thinkin' about...i'm wayyyyyy up the river

White bass are running up the river. Crappie and Bass are moving up to spawn. Depends on what you want to catch. Fishing should be good everywhere.

I am staying up river but will fish anywhere. I am fishing for largemouth. I use only artificial bait. Looking for ideas on water clarity and bottom structure to know what colors and type of bait to throw. I appreciate any help you can give

Bass were already on the beds there a week ago. Fish shallow in the canals. Typical sight fishing conditions and typical baits will work. Also had good luck on a wacky rigged weightless trick worm in wm or wm/purple. If its pretty weather and a weekend, get ready for a ridiculous amount of jetski and pleasure boat traffic.

went there last Monday 3/14/16 and fished around the docks and they are shallow caught a couple that went high 3's (lbs)a few in the 4's (lbs) in 3-8 ft water. baby brush hog tears them up. going back on easter weekend
