I'm trying to decide which lake I want to hit for a few days coming up on spring break. Curious as to what the water clarity is like on both Ray Roberts and Texoma and what lake would be worth hitting over the other. Any opinions would be appreciated.

This time of the year it would have to be Texoma, the last few years Texoma consistently out performed Roberts and several other lakes as far as stringer size through March. Once April hits I would have to go to Roberts. Now this year could be different since we have not had a winter.

depends on what you're after. having said that my good friends fished the striper tourney at texoma recently (same day as their bass tourney) and won it without catching a single fish, i think they only had 9 boats weigh in for the bass tourney if that puts how the bite on texoma is right now. I personally don't fish for sandbass or striper so i can't really comment on how thats doing as of now, been catching the big girls on ray bob the past couple weeks though. Red cranks on rocky points worked well this past weekend.
