Looking for some rod holders. Want some that can be taken off and stowed when I am not using them. Also don't want the mount to stick up too high because I haul it on to of my vehicle.

BeeReady, adjustable, the best IMO.

for low profile it is hard to beat BeeReady. I've got some of the Stealth ones that I love for trolling over the normal ram or tube ones.

Depends on usage, are you spider rigging, trolling, drifting or just storing rods with them? Drifting or spider rigging bee readys, trolling my favorite is the zooka tube, storage for me is the zooka tube as well. All of mine are mounted on gear tracks so they can be fully removed when transporting the kayak.

My primary use will be fishing vertically, but the trolling ability would be nice. Thinking about one on each side of the yak
so how do you mount the bee readys to a rail system?

so how do you mount the bee readys to a rail system? See "Track mounts" on the Bee Ready web site.

TG, I've looked at those, but they appear to be a side mount? am I missing something?
That would be great to be able to mount bee readys on there, I have a couple of doubles mounted to the boat and love em

Some T-bolts and spacers and it looks like it'll work.
